MrsL.Mageswary Lapchmanan

Ms. L. Mageswary Lapchmanan is the former Director of the Allied Health Sciences Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, with over 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership and dietetic clinical practice. She led national allied health governance, regulation, workforce development, and service transformation initiatives, and she is the visionary behind the Malaysia Allied Health Workforce Blueprint 2026–2035. A recognised leader in allied health, she has represented Malaysia at major international platforms, including the World Health Assembly, World Health Organization (WHO) advisory groups, and global allied health networks. She actively collaborates with WHO on advancing allied health workforce policies and strategies. She is a strong advocate for multidisciplinary collaboration, capacity building, and innovation to build sustainable, people-centred health systems.
