Ageing is an inevitable process indicated with deterioration of physiological function of individuals. These deteriorations have been associated with various comorbidites. However, bodies of evidence has shown the fact that such deteriorations can be slow down or reverse. The cornerstone of this possibilities of reversing the effect of ageing process relies on adequate dietary intake and proper exercise. Prescribing right dose of exercise is crucial. Each component exercise has to be incorporated in the exercise plan for elderly population. Pre-existing illness has to be taken into consideration as well as all the precautious measures.
